I learnt a lot from TMF Group - good and bad. It is an ambitious and growing global company and attracts similarly proactive and driven people.

Cons

The competitive and aggressive nature of the business is not for everyone. It pushes people hard and it can feel pretty unrelenting. They don’t accept weakness or failure. That’s not necessarily a bad thing but do it for a few years, learn what you need to, then find a business with a bit more humanity ...

Good Senior Management, Sr Director and HR who are very supportive, understanding and patient.

Cons

Some manager(s) are very hard to deal with, no preparedness to incorporate new employees, clannish mentality among staff, zero tolerance among co-workers to ask questions, poor transition of new staff, favouritism

Pros

TMF is a great place to gain experience and a foundation of knowledge. I've found after working at TMF that a lot of other employers are keen to snap you up. Some of the people are lovely and the staff benefits are decent.

Cons

The salary is NOT competitive. Progression is limited. Senior management don't really know what's going on in the various teams and are overly focused on figures, rather than prominent issues such as the incredibly high staff turnover...
