Pros

Some good partners / principals, although the ones who remain are very much the 'mediocre middle'.

Cons

Partners have no vision - a lot of them are 'lifers' - meaning they've never had a job outside consulting. They don't know how to run a business effectively; how to genuinely empower the people in their organisation to do their best work. There's been a exodus - with large groups of people moving together to other consulting shops such as Bain or EY Port Jackson Partners. Graduate quality is dropping and the middle layers have been gutted. Increasingly indistinguishable from PwC in terms of branding, but legacy partners still expect MBB hours.
