Pros

The benefits are good. Coworkers are like family and there are some great customers. Flexible schedule.

Cons

Increased work load with decreased resources. It feels more and more like a fast food environment. It isn't like the coffeeshop I started working for 5 years ago. It has lost the soul it once had.

Pros

Amazing benefits package, especially since it is included for part time employees. The "bottom level" staff are some of the highest educated of any food/service industry company, with most employees either currently enrolled in or a graduate of college. Lots and lots of free coffee. Very flexible scheduling, with the ability to easily go to other stores for additional work or to get shifts covered.

Cons

Very little room for advancement. Low base pay compared to other food/service jobs. Customers are rude and will completely take advantage of you. Management can not decide what they want to do and so are constantly changing our goals and rolling out new products, trying to see what works and what doesn't. Oftentimes not enough people scheduled to handle work load, creating a stressful environment for employees and customers.
