Pros

The name. The name. The name. Even though WFP is NOT PWC - outside companies may not know it.

Cons

Everyone that I know that is working in assurance, tax, or commercial advisory is happy. WFP is lousy. Do not let them lure you into the practice with the PwC brand name. WFP projects are long term (1-2 years) and you therefore develop one skill set. Commercial consulting projects are more short-term so in your first year, you might have as may as 4 projects which helps you gain a diverse skill set. WFP will not help you get a job at a company or in the private sector because WE DO NOT DO CONSULTING!!! Its all government staff aug (the jobs the government doesn't even want to do). It is not uncommon for consultants on the commercial side to get job offers from their clients - since WFP's clients are the government, this isn't happening.
