      Pros

      Diverse range of staff who are all fantastic to work with. Always something to do and there is always overtime for part timers. Pay is decent for retail. Great job for students (college and uni) as they can transfer you to different stores.

      Cons

      No staff discount. Not many opportunities for development within company. No extra pay on Sundays or bank holidays. NO PRAISE FROM MANAGEMENT for completing tasks, only criticism or more questions on why something else hasn't been done. No incentive for staff to perform above and beyond. Terrible communication between management and rest of staff. Not enough staff to accommodate the high workload. Staff often feel under pressure and extremely stressed from unrealistic targets set by management.

      Pros

      There is always something to do in Primark: doing deliveries, putting out the stock, tidying up the shop, being on the tills or helping out a customer. It is a busy environment and that's why time goes quick

      Cons

      No benefits - no staff discount (except at christmas), no double pay on sundays or bank holidays

      Great if your a student , always offering over-time as well.

      Cons

      You literally are a slave to the company. You get no respect from staff or customers and get treated like the products in store.
