Money wise is not bad, individual commission. You earn what you work

Cons

Super bad management, not organize at all. First day come to work, no training, not even uniform ready until half year. Just throw you off on the shop floor and start to work. Sales person need to do everything include getting the stock, offering beverage, wrapping, hosting. Family business, no structure, all command from Italy without communication to the shop floor. Always last minute notice, The worst is the retail director, super fake english women an absolute dictator ; ripped off every people that disagreed with her, working environment is tense and stress with her involvement.

Good salary - terrible reputation in amongst other companies = 2+ years (if you can last) will make you an attractive candidate for next opportunity elsewhere

Cons

- blame culture, whether business is performing or under performing the feedback from local HQ management is always negative - local HQ management’s intense fear of Italy HQ and UK CEO fosters culture of panic and lack of clarity in terms of decision making - UK CEO “favourites” intensely protected and bullying is frequent - middle and senior management obsessed with performance management and sacking people - seeing this as an opportunity to raise their profile - cult of personality led by UK CEO - it’s all about pleasing her, nothing else matters - incidentally company obsessed with Glassdoor feedback and will spend many moments gossiping and predicting author of this review - time would be better spent becoming better people
