Pros

Discount website of faulty stock higher discounts

Cons

During my time at Prada, I encountered several challenges that negatively impacted my experience. 1. Discount Policy: The 30% employee discount was inconsistently applied. I often had to request it, and most of the time, the requests were denied without explanation. 2. Training: There was no training provided, initially due to COVID-19, but even after restrictions were lifted, no effort was made to offer support or develop employees. 3. Pay and Pay Reviews: I was significantly underpaid and felt the company took advantage of my ambition and youth. Despite repeatedly requesting a pay review, the process was continuously delayed, leaving the issue unresolved. 4. Management: There was no concession manager for about a year, and when one was finally hired, they were dismissed during probation for theft. Overall, managerial standards were poor, and promotions seemed to be based on favouritism rather than merit. 5. Dress Code Disparity: Female employees were required to wear red lipstick as part of the uniform, whereas male employees were not subjected to similar requirements, which felt discriminatory. 6. Understaffing: The concession was often understaffed, resulting in employees working alone for extended periods. This made it difficult to take basic breaks, such as using the restroom, as there was no one to cover the floor. Overall, the lack of support, poor management, and inconsistent policies made this a challenging work environment. I hope the company takes steps to improve these issues for future employees.

Pros

You develop the tools to defend yourself in a terrible and toxic workplace

Cons

The issue in Prada is not good or bad managers. Or - good mangers normally leave after 6 months (in 3.5 years in the company I have seen over 12 managers escape just in my store) so the ones that stay are unavoidably the bad ones, the ones that embrace the DNA of a toxic company that celebrates the abuse, the misrispect, the possession of work bodies instead of the evaluation of the individuals. Lack of ethic starting from the HR, the department supoosed to guarantee the wellbeing of the "human resources", but which instead protects and promotes this broken system, now a proper "signature" of such a brand. We can't deny that in retail "prada" has become synonymous of place where not to work, to keep your distance from. Never ever I have experienced in any other companies what I experienced in Prada, Their interesting salaries dont pay back the quality of work and life. This company is just a joke.

Good money

Pros

If you are in a sales position, there is definitely opportunity for good money through the commission structure.

Cons

If you are in management, the amount of pay is not enough for the work that goes in. The company also doesn't support smaller markets well, and stores end up overexerted and understaffed. Everything becomes urgent/a priority to the point where those words lose their meaning
