Senior management of Old Bond Street should review her work ethics and approach to their positions. So called leaders of the store, were the greatest examples of what is the difference between a manager and a leader. I have never witnessed so many breakdowns at the work place caused by a store director. Starting the day with reminding your team how rubbish they are- was their go to morning routine. Always making sure that most of the team members are feeling insecure, not confident, not good enough, underperforming- was a strategy to keep the team ‘in their place’, not feeling ready for a pay rise nor promotion. The store has been experiencing at least 2 resignations a month, managerial roles including. Their way of work can simply be described as ‘loosing the plot’ managers. They were not able to say a sentence that is not related with money/sales/targets. It was not only sad, it was a horrible experience seeing so many incredible employees loosing confidence in themselves, their work skills, by just constantly being reminded that they are not good enough. I have a huge respect to every person I have worked with there, that handled this management/company ‘values’. If you want a healthy work place, to grow, feel excited and motivated to give your 1000% self- Prada, especially in Old Bond Street in London - is not a place.
