Pros

Looks good on resume

Cons

Management does not care about employees at all. One of the worst work floor environments with a lot of negativity from GM and other managers. Instead of being recognized for achieving goals they will point out what you did wrong and what you can do better next time. After many years they never said a thank you for ANYTHING. There’s no product training, the worst computer software and a lot of micro managing. They promise promotions but don’t follow through, instead they give you a run around.

Pros

You are working for a well-known multinational in this field and this will definitely be a pro in your CV. Roles , responsibilities and duties are usually well defined and nobody will ask you to deal with tasks which are not in your JD. If you have a good manager above you, this will certainly be the chance to learn a method.

Cons

It's an Italian family-run company and thus very hierarchical and sometimes unorganized. Only the owner decides and when he/she does, everybody needs to run to get things done in order to satisfy him/her. This might results in clientelism and waste of time/money instead of efficiency, The entire HR department is not very straight-forward, does micromanagement and is not willing to listen to employees' needs and aspiration.

Pros

Amazing brand. If you work at a store in a good location it can be easy to sell. You get a small discount.

Cons

You are worked to the bone. Clienteling takes a ton of effort and takes time away from the sales floor while others are selling. You are working even on your days off trying to sell items for the store, for a ridiculously small commission. Management does not care about you at all.
