Pros

working for Poste Italiane is considered like winning a lottery ticket here in Italy: steady and safe job with no risk of being fired. In days like these it's an ok job, but don't expect to grow much.

Cons

Hard to be hired, management can be second rate, pay is not high

Pros

Stability of a great group like Poste Italiane, teorically well designed and so you can catch many factors impossible to easily understand in other firms. The CEO is a good and prepared business man, but is a poor communicator and the strategy is not clear. Many employees are amazing workers not recognised by low profile top management

Cons

People are encouraged to work absolutely without sharing their experiences and there is too much competition among employees. Many many persons are unsatisfied and very sad because criteria to be promoted are unclear and the hr department is missing. Not a good place to work!!! Absolutely not!
