Pros

The people I work with are a lot of fun to spend my day with. The shoe designers are some of the funniest people I've known, and the overall attitude around the company is extremely positive and creative. If you're looking for a place to work where you're creativity is sure to be valued, look no further than Puma because management is always open to hearing fresh new ideas. I've never had a problem getting time off when I've needed it, and my boss is very open and communicative with me. My job provides me with the opportunity to work with every single person in the office, including the CMO, and has been a fantastic opportunity to network.

Cons

There's no escaping a few difficult personalities in such a creative environment, but I've been able to be honest about my concerns and it isn't too hard to work around it. I also put a lot of pressure on myself, but that's kind of my own doing because I really like my job.

Pros

It's an iconic brand. The company is focused on sustainability with many different projects and initiatives. You get to work with a diverse group of people. There is a big focus on individual growth and development. It's a fun and challenging work atmosphere. The brand is continuously evolving, never stagnant. It's a global company with lots of opportunities to move into different departments and also to relocate to different cities.

Cons

Because there are not as many retail locations in the US, there is a lot of travel for multi-unit managers which does not allow as much time in the stores for face to face interactions/ training, etc. The timekeeping/ scheduling system (Kronos) does not work smoothely and it seems that it is overly complicated for the purpose it serves.

Pros

Good benefits, nice discount, and the dress code is reasonably relaxed.

Cons

Getting time off is extraordinarily difficult, much of the management is excellent at playing the blame shifting game and even when goals are exceeded still will choose to provide staff with negative reinforcement instead of a reasonable amount of recognition and praise.
