Pros

Team spirit, great people, great potential as a business and as an employer. They offer on-site facilities at the head office. Good brand to talk about at events. Looks good on your CV if you want to stay in Retail industry

Cons

A very 'classic' business mindset. Hierarchical management and culture. Below industry salary, even after years of reviews saying the same thing. Senior management are out of touch with reality, internally and market wise. Great people overworked and squeezed for every last bit of productivity, while poor performers are not addressed. Systems and processes are ancient

Pros

Friendly staff and team members. Good learning path. Can build leadership experience.

Cons

BE CAUTIOUS about trusting their claims of flexibility regarding work locations. Despite their assurances of a flexible work arrangement, the reality is far more restrictive. Remote work is generally limited to fewer than 3 days per month, even in non-critical situations. Moreover, if you need to work from home during emergencies without prior approval, this may be held against you—regardless of your performance or dedication. Such instances could even result in termination without prejudice with their strict in-office policy, which is presented as "flexible." Be mindful of this disparity between their promises and actual practices to avoid unexpected consequences.

Many thanks for taking the time to review us on Glassdoor! It's nice to hear that you enjoyed our PUMA Fam spirit and were able to grow both personally and professionally while working here. However, we're sorry to hear about the challenges you faced within your work environment, as this is not the experience we aim to provide. At PUMA, we aim to foster a supportive and transparent work culture, and flexibility is an important part of that. However, as with many global organizations, our approach to remote work can vary based on role, team needs, and regional guidelines. We understand that situations can arise unexpectedly, and we’re continuously working on improving how we support our teams in those moments. Your feedback is therefore very valuable and will be shared with our internal teams to help us align our policies more closely with employee expectations. We thank you for your feedback and wish you all the best for your future career!
