Pros

I have worked in Oracle for three years in a Sales role. The work culture meets average expectations from a blue chip company. Had great team to work with, the work atmosphere is quite decent.

Cons

Some cross LOB competition being a bit detrimental to business trading. Company doesn't put much effort in employee development.

Pros

-Generous 401(k) -Didn't fire us after the acquisition -Sassy touchsreen laptops

Cons

-Oracle softwares are archaic and crash almost constantly -Slow to adapt. The call center had 100+ in queue for 3 months after a botched update roll out. Then the people they hired were for a time zone that didn't meet the queue needs -Stingy wfh opportunities. They tout "collaboration" but it's really management being unwilling to adjust their style
