Pros

- Culture is fantastic. Work with amazing people with regular socials. - Great benefits including stock, car allowance, flexible working, unlimited holidays and career progression - Meaningful work - Super offices

Cons

Things move fast here, and things can change quickly or be ambiguous at times. Its not a con, but if you haven't worked in a scale up environment before, it can take some getting used to.

Pros

- people are very nice and the whole culture is very focused on being pleasant - a lot of places have a fake version of this, but here it's genuinely nice. - good benefits and pay - it feels like everyone's opinions are valued - it's both a startup and a thriving business, has the best if both worlds. As employee, you don't feel like a cog in a machine - it feels like what you do matters and you can change things. But also it doesn't feel as stressful as in some other startups - no overtime, it's already working and we just try to make it all better.

Cons

Literally none. Wish I found this place sooner.

Pros

I think Octopus has really tried its hardest in recent months/years to improve salaries for staff as well as benefits. It promotes a great wellbeing culture and people here are more like close friends than colleagues.

Cons

I do think it can almost lean too much into the 'everyone deserves a second, third chance' and it hesitates when putting people on PIPs or letting them go when they are doing a really bad job and bringing down the rest of the team.
