We consider our pay to be in line with market data and are always benchmarking.       The pay is too little for the stress you face, they promise progression but that is the hardest thing to get.

      Great values and great culture

      Pros

      I think Octopus has really tried its hardest in recent months/years to improve salaries for staff as well as benefits. It promotes a great wellbeing culture and people here are more like close friends than colleagues.

      Cons

      I do think it can almost lean too much into the 'everyone deserves a second, third chance' and it hesitates when putting people on PIPs or letting them go when they are doing a really bad job and bringing down the rest of the team.
