      Made sure I worked 40 hours a week. Decent deals on clothes.

      Not enough to survive if that is your only job, especially in Florida. The job was very monotonous, you didn't really get to rotate between types of jobs, typically only working one the whole time (cashier, floor help, shoes, back room stocking).

      The culture is so awful that this company is going to implode on itself one day. Toxic management and environment, pitting people against each other, is a common practice used to control the masses. Not to mention denying promotions and treating the hardest workers like absolute garbage. Can't comprehend how a company can operate at this level of toxicity with people working against each other and zero lack of support from management, but on the contrary, working against you.
