Pros

1st class organization that is a leader in the athletic industry. Have the opportunity to meet some great people including the best athletes from all over the world. It's easy to take pride in the products you are manufacturing and selling. Discounted and free items and the free health clubs.

Cons

With so many employees, it makes it very difficult to get promoted. There are several large offices to compete with when looking for a promotion. Nike doesn't have to pay top dollar for employees because so many people will take less money to work for a proven leader in the industry.

Pros

The culture and people are fantastic, and it given the opportunity, it is a great company to work for. Although the pay is not the most competitive, it is a sacrifice for the lifestyle benefits.

Cons

The pay is not extremely competitive, and working in IT buildings is a large drop off from the pristine campus, if that is what you are interested in. The starting pay and work do not seem overly attractive. Nike seems like a great fit if you are established and have children, but not an exciting destination for a college IT grad.

Pros

Benefits, Campus if you can work at WHQ, Work out facilities, special events- award ceremonies, seeing top atheletes and celebrities on campus. Incredibly smart people in some areas. Many are very positive and energetic. The environment does allow for creativity, innovation and if you aren't in a 'business' group you can dress casually. Tennis shoes and a t-shirt. Five week (+) sabbatical at 10 years of service.

Cons

Promotions are only for those who are 'buddies'. Not based on competency. Often job postings already have a candidate in line. In some departments there is no 'downtime'.
