Pros

Discounts on Nike product, good benefits, WLB is pretty good most of the time, campus culture was amazing when we used to work in the office, on-campus gym and climbing facilities, "was" one of the best employers in Portland

Cons

Compensation for tech workers hasn't kept up with the market during COVID, CDIO and his friends want to convert Nike into a tech consumer rather than innovator, people are leaving in droves and no one is allowed to replace them except with cheaper global "talent", projects are no longer interesting or innovative but simple integrations with expensive turn key solutions, and a lot of incompetent people that got their jobs through nepotism or cronyism

Pros

Diverse and Inclusive culture. Colleagues are very collaborative and supportive, and professional at the same time. Many will become your best friends. Brand loyalty is a must. Processes are transparent and most leadership is very open and transparent about company's strategy and decision making. Data driven decision making is emphasized.

Cons

HR policies lack transparency at higher levels. Rules of transparent hiring apply only to analyst and manager level, and do not apply to Sr. Director and above level. Internal promotion is extremely difficult. You have to basically apply and interview, just as an external candidate. You cannot contact the hiring manager about the role if you work with him/her/they directly on everyday basis. After you apply, HR and recruiters won't reply for months and won't reply at all. No respect for internal candidates or experience by HR, hence moving up the ladder is extremely difficult. If you know someone higher up, you can become a Sr. Director or VP directly from being an analyst or manager with little experience, you don't need to interview or apply. Low turnover up to Manager level. Extremely high turnover above Director level, resulting into continuous strategy changes.

Terrible management

Pros

PTO, onsite gyms, pretty landscaping

Cons

Management is hired because of bro culture popularity instead of skills and qualifications. Management in return does not understand work of employees and tries to constantly implement bad processes and automation. Many of the good employees are leaving the company because of sour conditions and low moral created by bad management. I used to feel like a professional, but now feel like a valueless number. This has happened in the last 2-3 years.
