      Failing business model and unwilling to change it.

      Pros

      The 401k only starts after completing 12 months. Free parking.

      Cons

      Overworked and underpaid when compared across industry. High stress environment Office environment is stale. Expected to keep quiet and not interact with others. Constantly having to take part in corporate driven meetings that are a waste of time. Senior associate's are rude, arrogant, unfriendly, awkward and take out their frustrations of the job on other associates. Management completely ignores feedback. Very discriminatory towards minorities. Ever increasing health insurance cost coupled with decreasing coverage.

      Churn and burn

      Pros

      Benefits. Many talented people there. Access to a lot of resumes, although many of the candidates had not been spoken with before.

      Cons

      Conference calls that drag on forever and take people away from doing their jobs. Senior management seems there for show. They typically come to an office, meet and greet and glad hand, go to lunch, check some emails and leave.

      Recent reorganization, lots of opportunity.

      Pros

      -Great atmosphere, we are all there to make ourselves money but know we are part of a team as well. Not too big of an office, you feel like you can personally make a difference to the culture and the bottom line. -The New York office has been reorganized over the last year, several people who were poisonous to the culture were let go. -Growth - lots of opportunity for training, advancement since you are part of a multi-national organization -The senior management, from Jack Cullen on down, show their support for the office by coming by and talking to us/reviewing strategy.

      Cons

      -Short on staff, could use some help, company is slow to hire new staff. -The internal candidate tracking system is a pain - it freezes/shuts down a lot
