Pros

Lots of good people and knowledge. Good amount of training.

Cons

The bonus and performance measuring process , I Guess, createa a very competitive environment. There is no concept of team and work and team players. Only big mouthed rude arrogant people make the calls. Normally I am very enthusiastic to go to work and enjoy working, But here is Microsoft, I have to drag myself to work, because I know its going to be a rough work environment.

Pros

- generally get to work with very smart people - get to leverage many good company technologies - usually a wide variety of projects available to work on

Cons

- limited in terms of technology when implementing web based products, especially on the AJAX side - company and teams can be very large, it can be difficult to have visibility at times

Pros

Variety of products and businesses mean anyone can find something interesting to them, even if their interests change later. Some of the people you will work with are very smart, world famous experts.

Cons

Takes a long time to ship software. The stock doesn't go up as fast as it did before, but stock is still supposed to be a big part of your total pay.
