Pros

Pay is good, charity match for volunteering time or donations, diverse culture of openness and honesty. Cascading business priorities help with planning.

Cons

Large organization can feel dysfunctional, lots of different teams going after the same business which can get political. Compliance standards high (excessively?) which creates a drag on agile businesses. US centric, sometimes seems like a two tier system.

Pros

They try really hard to take care of their people and they're very flexible when it comes to work and personal life. The compensated package is really good and the office locations in Reston are very nice. You will work with a lot of smart people that don't have big egos for the most part.

Cons

Big company, many layers, things move pretty slow. Hard to navigate at times and know what team or individual can help unblock something. Communication between organizations is not great in my experience. Inefficient processes seem to be hard to change.
