Pros

Good salary, perks, benefits, stocks, offices, talented people to work with.

Cons

- Inconsistent experience with managers, some very good and knowledgeable managers, receiving good support and good performance ratings, while doing the same work and getting bad ratings with toxic/biased and unsupportive managers. - Lack of transparency on certain business decisions - Lack of Diversity, and different perspectives

Pros

The people you work with are great, which is why I am still here (although seriously looking for other jobs right now) Perks used to be great but not so much anymore

Cons

Culture is horrible right now, they are firing people left right & center. They are showing you that they dont care about employees anymore - be it through perks, through the extereme top down culture, calling it a year of intensity- you are nothing but a coding machine for them,. Perks are mostly all gone, from mediocre snacks to limited commuter benefits. Dont want to sound like a entitled employee but believe me, there are other places in the Bay area who give you more just for working for them & as a thank you. also WLB is non-existent

Pros

- Clear structure and strong peers to learn from, for early career folks - Amazing internal tools for data observability (and other areas but I'm most familiar with the data tools) - Coworkers are helpful and all meet a certain bar

Cons

- Some teams are less stable and have a lot of re-orgs - WLB is extremely dependent on team selection
