Pros

Exposure to exciting aerospace products.

Cons

This place is run like everyone's neck is on the chopping block, which leads to low accountability because no one wants to delay schedule. Lots of blaming and fingering pointing; if you're interested in problem solving this place is not for you. Processes are not well defined, borderline unsafe. Tools and equipment needed to do jobs effectively are not present and will never be purchased. Outdated software.

Pros

Good graduate programme. A good place to start your career.

Cons

Be prepared to be frustrated and confused by baffling and inconsistent approach to promotions, pay rises and general career progression. Then move elsewhere. What they say and what they do are quite different things.

Thanks for leaving your review and for your positive assessment of our graduate programme. We are very proud of our Early Careers development and it is disappointing that you feel Leonardo could not offer you the career opportunity you were looking for. We wish you the very best in your future career.

Pros

- Diverse range of projects - Some of the staff are world leading experts in key technology areas

Cons

- Below average salary - Little to no career progression - No meaningful performance related pay or incentives - Lack of long term leadership and strategy causes the company to chase immediate goals, to the detriment of its overall market standing and workforce morale - Risk averse investment and product development process can be frustrating to work in; good ideas are seldom rewarded or acted upon - Little to no mentoring or succession planning, making it difficult to increase your skills or progress - More work than there are staff to do it, and the situation is only getting worse; individuals in key positions are expected to work excessive hours to get projects over the line, with no reward and often no thanks for their work
