      Exciting projects but low career opportunities

      Pros

      It is easy to work on exciting international projects on the edge of either technological and organizational change.

      Cons

      Lot of processes but most of them just formal. Little to zero training about those processes which get discovered once you need them. To progress your career you will need both good connections with your management and be located in the HQ otherwise very little chances to be recognized.

      Pros

      A lot of different technologies and a dynamic job. It's possible to perform some activities in foreign countries and know a lot of people and a lot of new places.

      Cons

      Colleagues with very poor tech level and tech understanding. Sometimes there are a lot of issues due to poor testing procedures

      Pros

      Is one of the best Italian multinational companies and working with Leonardo-Finmeccanica means working to great and complex projects in both national and international environment, and dealing with high profile clients. For specific jobs in Italy, like aerospace and defense engineering, is the best company to work with.

      Cons

      It's a bureaucratic organization with very slow internal processes, and very often bureaucratic doesn't mean well organized. Technical roles are underpaid and undervalued; stay away if you are a young and dynamic engineer, consider the company only for management positions or at least negotiate since the begging a good salary because salary raises will be rare.
