Pros

- Job security - Perks - Pension - Work life balance

Cons

- It is a BANK in the end, not an engineering company. They sell their financial services, not an engineering product. - You can see incompetent people being promoted to higher level roles, like data architects, senior levels or management. - Not a friendly work culture

Pros

A lot of opportunities for women in this company, including promotional opportunities. I highly recommend it. You can have a long career here as a woman, and working here has great benefits

Cons

It can be hierarchical and difficult to impact change. Some product teams are more mature than others, overall JPMC has a lot of work to do to value research. They have strong research talent and high demand for research but it is difficult to influence product teams and teams work in silos.
