Pros

Made some good friends, and to some extent it helped me get interviews, but eventually it's my ability that counts.

Cons

Mobility is a joke; false brotherhood; too much politics.

Pros

The customers are awesome and if you want to be a Financial Advisor, there are lots of opportunities since people quit so often.

Cons

The management team is terrible. Too much management that does nothing. Uneducated leadership that does not have a clue on how to be a good manger!

Pros

The pros for working at a firm such as JPMorgan Asset Management is the brand recognition it receives from the name. Having such a name on your resume opens the doors to other possibilities. Also, the people I have met throughout my tenor here have been great.

Cons

Working in the Operations side for JPMorgan Asset Management there is not my opportunity for growth and advancement. Also, a good portion of the work is being moved to other locations as a form of cost savings so you never really know if you will be impacted on a given day.
