Pros

They offer decent benefits. They offer a pension. They offer many areas to work in.

Cons

It's hard to move your career forward. Hard to get promoted. Hard to have your salary increased. Some managers don't really know how to lead and manage.

Pros

- Good option for laterals who are in service industry and want to move into product based industry - Good work life balance - Enough leaves

Cons

- Less pay as compared to other competitors - No onshore rotation plan - Important decisions about the planning are taken by onshore counterpart - Onshore counterpart is treated like how the clients are treated in service industry - BE freshers are getting equivalent pay as compared to laterals with 3-4 yrs. experience - Lots of politics, you need to be favorite of your manager to get exposure - Managers don't have the leadership skills - Not much to learn
