Pros
Working for Intel teaches you self discipline. Because you are out in the field, you are your own business unit. The fact that management trusts you and values your ideas and input makes working for Intel extremely rewarding. The amount of knowledge that you gain is priceless. Also the fact that you're working with and are associated with the best minds in the business is a huge bonus.
Cons
As a contractor, you don't get benefits like medical aid, pension. Also working through an inflexible agency is also puts a damper on things. Because the people are such a tight knit clan, it's difficult for a newcomer to fit in.
