      Lots of great colleagues, occasionally frustrating organization

      Pros

      You have a lot of really smart and educated colleagues who are great to work with. There are some interesting projects and many of the partners are great.

      Cons

      Project management is not always up to par. People who are not high up often spend a fair bit of time on the bench, which can be frustrating for utilization numbers.

      transparant hierarchy , disent salary for fresher, world competant infrastucture

      Cons

      earlier days of infosys has been gone for developers/coder. Now it only provide salary without quality work., degrading onsite opportunity.

      Good if you happen to work if you get into right IBU and right project, otherwise bad

      Pros

      Good for freshers, who want to gain some experience before moving on for higher education. If you happen to be in a good project and good unit, your life is great. Some projects and units have great managers and good opportunities, others not so much.

      Cons

      "Lottery" system instead of merit for project allocation, IBU allocation, onsite opportunities. Trainees are randomly assigned to units after they complete their training. No consideration is given to their interests etc. Rigid dress code unsuitable for tropical climate of India -- in spite of employee dissent, no change has been made. There are useless internal certifications that test your cramming skills. Onsite opportunities are also decided through a lottery system.
