Pros

Met amazing co workers, made my own schedule, worked 4 days a week, as a front desk had somewhat of an opportunity to make commission.

Cons

PLEASE READ!! Listen, getting a job in aesthetics is something I felt I always wanted. A lot of people want it. Going into this job I had gotten feed back about the company and said mehh I’m going to take it anyways. PLEASE DONT BE ME! These negative reviews are REAL! the good ones are from people who just started and haven’t gotten the full experience yet and probably have quit shortly after so hear me out… 1) There is NO management. And if there is, they barely have the authority to make decisions. I once had to go above to the regional director about my concerns and for 4 weeks straight followed up on my email requests because I never got a response. They ignore you. 2) they change your bonus and commission plan without even telling you or telling you after is was already taken place which is illegal. And by change, I mean diminish. I went from a potential $1,000 monthly bonus down to $200. Big difference. 3) you have to deal with angry guests constantly. The consultants are told to not take no for an answer and that’s all the company cares about. If an upset guest calls the center about the lies they were told, we have the deal with it and the consultants don’t have to respond to us and just take their check. 4) I took on more than I needed to as a CC and had to BEG for 7-8 months for a raise. I was a trainer who didn’t get any extra pay for training 5) you will absolutely be gaslit by management if you ever get a response. when you bring up concerns, you get ignored. 6) they make changes for the wrong reasons. They put bandaids on everything and never correct the core problems. Over my time there, our waitlist got so large it was at 1,200 people. Just ridiculous from a scheduling standpoint as we cannot accommodate everyone. 7) they changed our hours 4 times in the 2 years I worked there to make our days longer and longer each time. 8-8 everyday. No one needs Botox at 7:30 pm. 8) the turnover is outrageous. 24 people have left in the 2 years I was there making that 1 person a month on average. How do the higher ups not see that as a problem??? AND THATS JUST FOR 1 CENTER! 9) reviews….the most negative reviews I have ever seen for a company and you would think the company as a whole would look at them and say hmmm people really aren’t happy, we should make a change, but instead they say hmm let’s make everyone work more and give them less pay. 10) the company over sells and just want peoples money. They don’t care about their employees and just want us to be puppets for the client abuse we experience. I know there is more but just not enough space. All in all, it’s just not worth it. If you are in customer service or a registered nurse, there are many other caring companies out there. Please pass on this one.

Pros

Work from home, nice equipment

Cons

I was once employed here as a LRC, but recently left the company for a much better and higher paying position. If you are looking for a Sales job, this is not it. They promise you that you will make commission, when that is not the case. 90% of employees are never here longer than six months. They purposely make commission/ draw unattainable so that you will never make any real money. If you are not a part of the top 10 reps - forget about it. All of the good and profitable leads go to them. They don’t appreciate their staff. No bonuses, holiday pay - nada. Unless you’re in that top 10 ranking .... they seem to get everything. My experience here overall was terrible. Constantly being gaslighted by managers. Thinking that I had a chance of making commission, when it is really impossible. You work every weekend and they WILL change your schedule without notifying you first. You are “required” to work extra days without being paid for them. This was absolutely the worst job that I have ever had. To put it in a more simple context: you are just a number, you will not make commission, and they don’t care about you. Period. If you are not committed to working 60 hour work weeks and being a yes man to them, you are disposable - period.

Pros

The relationships you build with employees

Cons

The impression of the company given during the hiring process was a complete 180 of what was experienced during the time of employment. The company is extremely understaffed, at least in my region. I was not told that I would be working 11+ hour days, sometimes (mostly) alone. I was not trained properly for the role. Most skills were learned through co-workers who had been there sometime before me and not management. I was thrown to the wolves on my second or third shift. Still very unsure of how everything works I was sent to work a weekend day by myself at a location I didn’t even apply to in order to cover their lack of staff. The training videos that are “required” to watch are informative but only to a certain degree. There is a total disconnect in common between all company departments which made my job as DCC harder. Due to my position in the company, my hands were tied when it came to handling situations beyond my scope of practice. When I would reach out to other departments to assist in handling guest accounts and other responsibilities of that nature I would never hear back. Even after several follow-up emails, I still may not have received a response. Or if I was able to get a response they would tell me that they would reach out to the guest in order to bring resolve. Most times the guest was not given a phone call back and I know so because they would come back into the office several times complaining or requesting to speak to a manager that was NEVER in the office. Beyond the manager never being in the office, it was very hard to reach her and have her assistance when needed. She was only a phone call away however, she was always preoccupied with other job responsibilities somewhere else that when her presence or time was requested she was often not available. Which was irritating because certain situations could not be resolved without her input. I just don’t think it’s an efficient business practice to have one manager over seven different locations. Two of which are located more than three hours away within our state. Scheduling options are horrendous for guests. Contracts are not explained properly to guests at the time of the packages being sold. Aesthetic consultants are not nurses so often clients are being sold the wrong products, things they don’t need, and are completely misinformed. Guest are given impossible time frames to complete treatments because scheduling is so scarce. The refund policy in certain circumstances is unfair. And these are just a small fraction of the issues that I would have to take on at the clinic level. It wasn’t easy to handle guests calling or walking in frustrated with all of these issues. Yelling and screaming at myself and/or co-workers. And sometimes rightfully so, because they were sold something that wasn’t true and due to company policy there was absolutely nothing I could offer them to accommodate . All I could do was give them my manager along with corporates' contact information and tell them to reach out, knowing no one was going to get back to them. The entire thing is just constant high stress and chaos.
