Pros
SFF was my first placement after receiving my degree and I learned so much more than I expected to when I first joined. Back then I thought I knew everything because I was fresh out of college, but the reality of being a mental health therapist and the literature are two completely different things. I’m glad it didn’t lessen my passion for the job, but it did give me an entirely new perspective on things. All in all, I’d say my time here was a fantastic learning experience and one I’m very grateful for.
Cons
The biggest con for me was just that it wasn’t my own. I left to open up my own private practice.
