Not a great work environment for nurses
Pros
The benefits package and pay is great. The company gives each team member 1 free treatment in each modality each year and a generous PTO package. You also have a chance to make commission and get bonuses.
Cons
Be prepared to work through your breaks and be in a high pressured sales environment that is not patient centered. I often found myself working late to catch up on charting and to clean the treatment rooms for the next day (there is no housekeeping staff ) There is very little room for advancement as a treatment provider and the skills that you do gain in this job mimics that of an esthetician. You will lose your nursing skills. The culture is much like that of a high school clique where gossip and back stabbing behavior is rampant. The center managers are sales people not medical professionals and it all comes down to $$$$ not patient care.
