      They pay on time :)

      Cons

      HR department does not exist in practice. The people in HR do not know basic communication manners. Avoid at all costs. No help will be provided. Senior management comes up with random tasks so people spend time on useless things with no real point. Nobody cares the next day but today it is No 1 priority! No rationale behind. Your teammate just quitted? Congrats now you will do the job of two people! I dont understand how people stay in this toxicity... no respect to employees

      Pros

      Former Fidessa employee. Prior to its purchase by Ion, the company was a great place to work. Salary was average, but benefits were good, culture was good and the people you worked with were great. Fidessa had a lot of respect for its employees and its clients.

      Cons

      After the acquisition, the company has gone downhill. Tons of people with 5 to 10+ years of exp, left and were not replaced. Employees left behind are overworked and unappreciated. Expect a ton of weekend work and poor work/life balance. Hiring process is ridiculous. It takes upwards of 6+ months to hire anyone because it sits on owners desk for months before it gets approved or rejected.

      ION has purchased some good vendors as part of its growth strategy

      Cons

      Ruined every company they have bought, demoralised sales professionals, very poor sales success and drained of good experienced professionals. People leave, they are not replaced, so people left behind are promoted beyond their experience.
