      - ION has a flat organization, allowing for new hires to immediately obtain a lot of experience and to have exposure to senior management - The company is growing rapidly through acquisitions, which is healthy for its growth, and educational for Analysts - The Analyst (Leadership Development Program) is a great opportunity to have a youthful energy in the organization. A lot of innovation and cohesion of divisions is coming from this

      - ION has a flat organization, so it can be easy to get lost if you don't have the persistence to continuously advance your own career - Transparency of strategy is lacking, and may employees don't understand the "why" of what they are doing

      Pros

      It used to be a great place to learn and grow. Now, most control is with a few old-timers, and decisions are often made without a proper understanding of the situation.

      Cons

      It was once a good company, but things have changed over time. Expectations have become unrealistic, and layoffs happen suddenly without clear reasons. People who simply agree with seniors tend to survive, even when leadership lacks proper knowledge or direction. The older acquired projects have no proper processes, and workplace politics are heavily influenced by certain leads. Overall, it may not be the best place for long-term career growth.

      The Manhattan office is nice with Central Park views.

      Cons

      The company has been reducing staff aggressively with no clear plan or strategy. Employee morale is low, and management does not seem to care about its employees. Employees are severely underpaid compared to market peers. Run.
