      Pros

      The big cellphone handset companies from 10 years ago are no longer around. IBM has managed to survive for more than 100 years. You're working at a company that isn't going anywhere any time soon.

      Cons

      Coming in a doing a job is not an acceptable level of standard. Do that and you'll be layed off for superficial reasons in the next round of layoffs, which there seems to be no end to at IBM.
