Pros

The pay was above average for a retail job, other sales advisors and select managers were great people, benefits were decent, and the discount was nice.

Cons

The scheduling was absolutely ridiculous and, often, did not allow for a full night of sleep. Certain managers were catty toward employees and would basically talk s*** about people in unbelievably immature ways. There is no REAL opportunity for advancement within this company. The pay, while decent, is not nearly appropriate in relation to the amount of work expected out of employees. No effort is made to train new hires effectively. Managers let certain employees get away with anything and others get no slack whatsoever. This company is not run by compassionate individuals. The district managers would visit the store and come down on management for certain reasons...employees were then blamed and pressured to work even harder. The store was horribly understaffed despite being extremely high-volume and the level of quality and customer service was diminished as a result.

Pros

I have worked with the company for a long time and def can say that there are lots of opportunities to grow within the company as long as you are self motivated and flexible. its a great place to work and lots of people I respect.

Cons

HR needs to protect the little people. I have seen it happen way too long were HR protects the big bosses and not the ones that actually need protection. H&M in the states wants it all, they want to look fabulous with minimum hours used!
