Pros

There are lots of opportunities for growth in the company if you want them and prove yourself. If you are flexible and hard working, you are able to get hands on experience in merchandising and other areas of styling that most retailers don't offer. This is a great job for someone who likes working at a fast pace with new things to learn every day.

Cons

Some issues with open communication between management and sales staff. If you want to grow in the company you have to be very vocal about it and stay on the managers until they give you an opportunity. Because it's a typical retail environment, there is a lot of employee turnover and plenty of people who just work weekends to get the discount, meaning they don't particularly care about the condition of the store or the quality of their work. This is not necessarily H&M's fault, but the most frustrating part of the job is having to work twice as hard most of the time to compensate for coworkers who could care less.

Pros

-employees that are with it -fair management -room for growth. Generally promote from within through succession planning. -learn about the fast fashion business model. Different from client focused retail.

Cons

-too hectic for the wage. Just constant chaos. -discount could be higher If you want to move up the retail chain faster, get management experience at another company and apply at a new location, where they are hiring from scratch. They look for people that have experience in a fast-paced environment, so a company with a similar model would be best to get experience with.
