Pros

Pay/benefits package is good when store targets are exceeded but falls behind competitors when it's not. If you're really good then the company may grant the opportunity to go to Italy for additional training and product knowledge.

Cons

Very negative atmosphere and morale within the store. Chances to progress without speaking Italian are very low. High disparity in pay among staff made worse by commission scheme being based on a percentage of gross monthly salary. Loyalty is not rewarded - salaries of new staff are higher than long term employees and not increased unless threatened with resignation. Staff Rota is managed appallingly. Frequently either too many staff are scheduled to work the same shift rather than spread through the day or there are not enough staff scheduled to work at all.
