no pros unless you count the employee discount you can't afford and how the company should be the same in each store but doesn't work that way.

Cons

After dedicating nine years to Gucci, I was let go due to performance metrics that were solely based on sales goals rather than a comprehensive evaluation of my overall contributions. My experience and dedication to the brand were not fully reflected in this decision, as there was little consideration for other aspects of my performance, client relationships, or the challenges within the retail environment. While this chapter has closed, I remain proud of my time with the company and the expertise I gained in the luxury industry.

1. Reputable brand name that adds visibility to your CV 2. Exposure to high-end retail project cycles with fast pace and visibility 3. You’ll develop strong endurance and learn how to manage chaos quickly

Cons

1. Employees are often required to take on responsibilities far beyond their pay grade or job description, with little to no structural support. 2. Lack of professional understanding from leadership. 3. Even when the issue stems from unclear scopes, delayed inputs, or consultant-side faults, frontline staff are expected to absorb the consequences. 4. Instead of a structured system, employees rely on “whoever knows best” to carry the process.

I worked there while I was in university and it is the perfect part time weekend job. Good staff discount and good team to work with, perks are also good such as The Bupa healthcare.

Cons

The nature of work, retail is hard and tiring.
