-Hourly pay -All the hours you could want -If you end up with a good team it can be fun -if you've been there for a while you can get really great tips

Cons

-very fast paced environment -little time for breaks -most of the time understaffed -physical hazards from staying on your feet all day and possible carpal tunnel -stays open too late

Pros

flexible hours will work around a school schedule great learning experience good for those starting out and that just enjoy cutting hair stay pretty busy and the tips are pretty decent some offer incentives for working weekend and selling products

Cons

hourly pay could be better pay is not negotiable or competitive raises are very small amounts and do not happen a lot.
