Lots of clients, don't have to build customer base

Cons

State board regulations were ignored, manager showed blatant favoritism and allowed certain employees to break policies, rude clients with poor tips were not unusual

Pros

Loyalty, stylists and management bonus, commissions, tips. Customers are usually great, and I actually have a great relationship with my boss(es)

Cons

If we’re slow the day drags, all GC are individually owned so there’s always some sort of miscommunication when it comes from going to one franchise to another. I feel like corporate within itself doesn’t actually care about us (as stylists) but it’s all a roll of the dice if your franchisee/GM are good people then your work/life balance will be better.
