Pros

Great place to learn and improve speed and cutting techniques. Hourly rate helps provide a steady income. Free on-going education. work shifts can be flexable

Cons

Not good for building clientel and tips can be erratic. You really have to do a lot of cuts to make good money. cut times are 13 to 17 min! Continued education is great if you can take the days off to attend the classes. Benefits are up to each individual franchisee. Some places are better than others. No tools are provided. Some stores are VERY conservative in attire and looks.

Pros

if you like to cut, this is for you, dont expect much support or reward beyond getting paid. Things are discussed enthusiastically or as if very important but not followed through on.

Cons

no regular schedule, no support from uppers when you are trying to accomplish what you are told to do. The pay is low, and you can make thi sup in tips, but the bonus program is set up for failure an the standards to make a bonus are constantly revised to make it harder.

All depends on your current salon manager, most only hire inexperienced managers for cheap salary.

Cons

sell,sell,sell RETAIL!!!!! Push product, and not good quailtly services!! I always thought a first rate haircut would bring a a return customer, not a crappy shampoo.
