Pros

I started at entry level and have worked my way up to being a General Manager. My franchisee is very much a family man with very good values. He makes a point to try to know each and everyone of his employees and to make them feel appreciated for their hard work.

Cons

Occasionally stressful. However, it's never long term.

Pros

There is opportunity to make as much money as you are willing to work for. Corporate is very helpful, supportive and cares about the success of you, your staff and salon.

Cons

Not every salon has the same rules as they are franchises and can tweak the rules. The support is not always clear from the upper management. High hopes are built and then knocked down. Expected to eat, breathe and sleep the salon, family comes second.

Umm... I loved working at great clips. There's so many pros to write but I have very little time and hope I can edit this later... (Cause it needed 20 words)

Cons

If you don't like going home very hairy haha ..... don't work for great clip. But who doesn't go home hairy after work if you're in the hair industry?
