      Pros

      You have a built in clientele. It is a fast pace working environment. Excellent for stylists that are just starting out because you get your hands in a lot of hair. You get hands on training to help you fine tune your technical skills.

      Cons

      Weekends are usually mandatory because that is our busiest time.

      If someone gets a bad haircut at one location they will associate it with every Great Clips across america

      Pros

      If you work at a busy location, you can do very well by making tips. However this only supplements the very low base pay.

      Cons

      This company doesn't pay you what you're worth. Stylist with 20+ years of experience make pretty much the same as new stylists. You are also doing the job of a receptionist.
