Pros

Tips can sometimes be really good. Never bored, even the slowest times I took 2-3 haircuts per hour

Cons

Crazy hours, Sometimes worked 12 hour shifts which is a lot on your feet like that. Often didn't get a lunch break or even time to go to the bathroom. Lazy coworkers and high turnover

Fast pace environment, lots of opportunity to control your daily income, room for advancement, flexible schedules, built in clientele

Cons

No set schedule. However once you get used to the concept of a schedule that changes every week it really is not that bad. The good thing is they schedule for the costumer so you get to work the most hours when it is the busiest and less hours when it is slower.
