Good if your in a busy salon with a good owner.

Pros

Good client base coming out of school. Guaranteed base pay. Get to have tons of people to hone your craft.

Cons

Part time status working full time hours. Depending on owner you get a low base pay that needs to be higher due to high cost of school and licensing. Long hour shifts and open Sundays.

Pros

Pros are a nice salon, great GMs and all the vacation time and benefits. Flexible schedules and plenty of customers makes time fly!

Cons

Managers do the most work.....period. instead of making bonus money the way we get most of our manager pay, pay us more hourly, plus a bonus if it is earned. It's hard to keep doing all the work for what a stylist makes. We keep the salons running smoothly. You get what you pay for!

Benefits are offered, PTO, Health, Dental, 401K, and there’s plenty of room for advancement. Great Clips clients are the best. They’re are loyal to the brand.

Cons

You don’t make your own schedule. Nights and weekends are required
