Pros

The Google experience can be very team specific. Good pay, all very googley, no pressure, laid back, great food, great benefits.

Cons

Very political, teams very territorial, very hard to get things done, leaders are good at making presentations about next year goals but when the time comes to make hard decisions to pursue those goals then they flip it on you figuring it out...... it takes a lot of effort and time to figure out what to do, they call it "ability to navigate in ambiguity", but it's just poor leadership with no clear strategy and action plan.

Pros

People are friendly and genuinely want to make things better.

Cons

Just another big corporation who only cares about the top and bottom lines. Excessive planning cycles with many layers of hierarchy to clear. Company is moving very slowly.
