Pros

I didn't realize how ethical Flowserve was until I worked for other companies. I miss the straight forwardness. Salary and bonus are fair. This is a good company to get experience from.

Cons

It's hard to move up if you're not a falling into line "yes" man.

Pros

Fair degree of independence and decision making latitude. Nice facility in corporate HQ and location is convenient. Business model is solid and industry has staying power (i.e., it's not going away) - Fluid motion control (pumps, valves and seals).

Cons

Politics seemed a bit heavy - lots of hush-hush talk. There always seemed to be something going on/scheming of one sort or another.

Casual Fridays, week off at Christmas, Summer hours, Cash Retirement Plan, AIP bonus based on Company performance, flexible work hours depending on your department, unlimited sick time

Cons

Your yearly raise isn't based on your performance! Only get a percentage of money to divide between your team. Salaries are low!
