Pros

Good facilities, good people. Product seems boring at first but is actually quite complex. Broad exposure to industry. Mix of custom product engineering and applications.

Cons

Nice but small town needing a connecting flight. Vacation time could be more. Not always the best direction but manageable.

Pros

Flowserve is a big company and so jobs are very stable, the benefits of the company are ok. There is lot of techical issues to learn about it, if you are a selftrain person.

Cons

Promotions in Flowserve are very difficult if you are not the best friend of the "boss", but if you are It doesn't matter how unskillful you are 'cause you 'll be promoted. PMP (personel managment process) doesn't work, hardly ever HR check them. Salarys are very low compare with others companys in the marked. Flowserve doesn't care about development of his employees.

Pros

Very diverse, global company who has their hand in all sorts in inelastic industries. IE. Oil, Gas, pharmaceuticals, chemicals, energy.

Cons

A lot of people content with mediocrity and no advancement. A lot of third world operations that can be difficult to communicate with.
