Pros

Very nice customers to work with on a day to day bases

Cons

Why the upper CEO staff and management don't really care what is really happening in the centers to this day. Are they that blind or really don't care. It seems to me if I read what I have been reading it would raise flags enough for me to start being concerned and try to figure out what is really going on and what could I do to fix it. But Brian Phillips and Fred Smith don't seem to really show they care. It is only showing they care about how much money they can put in there pockets and not to care about the ones doing the hard work in the centers. I have read most of the concerns from former team members, managers I think they are very spot on and Brian Phillips and Fred Dmith should be ashamed of the way they are allowing managers in the centers today treat team members terrible.

Pros

The people you meet and work with and also the experience gained.

Cons

Shifting company goals and policies which did not meet the needs of customers. In addition, FedEx Office does not know what it wants to be when it grows up!! Does it want to be a "Big Box Retail, Shipping or Printing company???" It does all of these things, but not very well.

Tedious.

Pros

Good benefits for the level of job it is. Pay is mediocre. 1 week of vacation 1st year, 2 weeks the 2nd year and 3 weeks starting the 4th year. 401k matching up to 5%. Health, dental, vision. Not great plans, but something. Managers can bonus quarterly but it is rare in most locations.

Cons

As with any customer-service oriented job, you are expected to meet unrealistic customer expectations and give every customer a lengthy spiel about the current month's sale ("Don't forget to take the survey too!")
